Guide to using the Character Counter (Simple Memo)

The simple memo is a real-time web editor that applies the browser's own session backup technology so that texts are safely preserved even if a tab is closed or refreshed during writing. Various text measurement dashboards such as character counts and line counts are also provided simultaneously.

Key Features

  • 📅 Real-time Date Input: When writing meeting minutes or creating a to-do list for the day, pressing the 'Insert Time' button at the top injects the current timestamp in 1 second, making organization easier.
  • 🔍 Monitor-customized Font Zoom: You can freely increase the font size from 12px to 24px to suit your screen resolution or eyesight, preventing work fatigue.
  • 💾 Text Download: You can download and save the written text directly to your PC as a text file (.txt) with a single click, without the need for a separate word processor or notepad program.

How to Use

  1. Safe Auto Backup: About 0.6 seconds after you finish typing, the green 'Auto Save Complete' logo turns on in the top right corner, and it is safely backed up to your local disk.
  2. Undo: If you accidentally deleted a chunk of the memo or want to roll back to a previous typing point, click 'Undo' at the bottom to safely restore it.
